Summary

Today, I’m going to do something a little different. I don’t have any notes for this episode. Instead, I’m here to share from my heart, and to encourage the encourager (that’s you!).

Since you’re listening to this show, you’re probably a leader or influencer in some way. You’re someone who is constantly encouraging other people, and helping them see what they can’t see in themselves. What comes with that is a whole lot of responsibility, misunderstandings, and being taken for granted. Today, it’s your turn! I’m here to encourage and celebrate you.

The difference between the called and the chosen is that the chosen are the ones who choose to answer the call. You have chosen to answer that call, and that road is definitely full of challenges. Please know that your work is not in vain. You are an amazing encourager, and when you hit obstacles and stumble or fall down, it’s time to get back up again! Turn those obstacles into opportunities.

I’d like to issue you a challenge to help you along the way. Sometime within the next 24 hours, sit down and write a letter to your future self, ten years from now. Write to your future self about where you want to be at that point — not just geographically, but also in your career, your spiritual journey, and your personal life. Who are you? What are you doing? Who are you impacting? What are you giving?

Remember, your living is not in vain. You’re here to make an amazing difference in the world, and I’m so thankful to have this opportunity to encourage you along the way.
